Add Facebook Page Admins – Safe and Secure.

Giving access to someone you trust to mange you Facebook pages, can be a big leap of faith, but by following some simple steps you can protect your personal information and provided administration access without any concerns.

Believe it or not adding page admins is simple, but there are several ways this can be done and depending on A. How you set up your page or B. Your account privacy settings.

The simplest way to appoint a manger to administrate your Facebook page is to follow these step by step instructions.

1. Ask them to like your page and send you a message via the page that this has been done.

2.  Visit the page you manage and click the arrow next to Edit page.

3. On clicking the arrow you will be given several options, we are looking for Manage Admins Roles

4. Selecting this tab will allow you to add your new admin details, if you are Facebook friends, all you need to do is begin typing their name. If you are not friends then type the email address your chosen admin uses to access Facebook.

6. Enter your Facebook password to submit the request for additional admins.

Congratulations you have just added you first administrator to your page. In most instances this is all the information you need, however if your chosen admins page like has not registered or they have their notification or privacy settings on.

If the above does not work or the admin does not receive notification then ask them to check their privacy settings and to temporarily adjust their visibility.

Trusting someone to manage your online presence and just handing over secure email and password information is no longer practical and with so many road blocks, captcha and location log ins, now actively protecting access to your networks.
