Handmade Christmas Crafts – Gifts Made with Love

Christmas Gifts made by hand can be simple or can as complex as you wish. A skill that you have been developing for sometime can even become a full time business, but it is critical that you make them yourself, and sprinkle them with love!

There are many articles with specific instructions on making things – but by far the best way to learn is hands on experience. Luckily the crafting community just adore sharing and you will find many opportunities to participate in demonstrations and workshops all over the country.

Here at Chapel Crafts we are building upon this exciting trend and inviting you to share in the talents of artists and crafters in the community.
This ongoing project not only gives us the opportunity to teach you a new skill but also provides a platform for local crafters with small businesses to advertise their finished products and their crafting ability.

Interested in joining us?

Have a skill or talent you would like to share? We’d love to hear from you or why not pop on over for a cup of tea and a cosy chat!

Why Should I Share?

Some of you my be thinking, why would we share our skills with others? I hear the occasional comment, usually online where crafters and artists feel that others are copying their work! I am afraid it does not matter what business you are in, that is always going to happen!

If you have a talent, others will follow, how you deal with this is what sets you apart. Improving your style, your technique, offering something unique, marketing a different angle will all help raise your standards.

Instead of feeling resentment, offering an olive branch of support to you’re so called competitor, makes you the better person and I believe you will be rewarded highly for you compassion.

Still Feeling Cheated? Then step up your game!

The answer is simple you have perfected your craft and chosen to market it as a business, selling to your friends and family is a great start, but surely you want your share of the bigger, national and international marketplace?

Well, our team of crafters are taking little steps in getting the word out during demonstrations and workshops and in turn this is helping their businesses and they are all enjoying the benefits of word of mouth advertising.

Sprinkle Some Crafters Love This Christmas!

Handmade crafts will always be unique, someone may attempt to copy your range, but they will never be able to apply the same love and passion into a piece that you have created from scratch.

Imagine the years of enjoyment your family and friends will get from receiving a handmade gift from you, this is something they will happily show of to their friends and cherish for years. Proudly displayed for all to see on their wall or shelf in their home.

Perhaps you’re not the crafting type, many of us enjoy handmade gifts but do not have the time or patience to make them ourselves.

You can still send some Christmas Love by choosing to support local crafters and buy handmade gifts for your loved ones.

Sending a gift with a real story will ensure your friend remembers the time you took to find it and makes it extra special that you knew how much they would enjoy this handmade christmas present! Made with Love
